"Are you having a bad day? ... Because, no you're not!" - Wager, Professional House Comedian, probablyWager is as his name states, "All In". He gives 110% at anything we try--and we've tried a lot! He enjoys just about any activity, from hiking with family and friends, to dock diving, to scent work, to stock dog work, to agility, and so on. He is a sweet dog that prefers to de-escalate and keep the peace. He loves other animals, including his cats. He is both highly food and toy motivated and is wholly dedicated to his handler. He adores working with his owners and will work for others when asked.He is a multiple time High in Trial/High In Class winner across several sports.Wager is easy to live with and settles well at home and in his crate. He travels well and can be trusted sleeping loose in AirBnbs and hotel rooms overnight. He settles well at breweries, restaurants, and patios and will do many a trick-for-treat if asked!He is reserved with strangers and typically ignores others unless prompted otherwise. He quickly earns the privilege of being off leash when appropriate as he makes good decisions without micromanagement. He has always allowed vet staff, chiropractors/massage therapists, and others to handle him without fuss or sedation.Wager loves working any type of stock--sheep, goats, cattle, ducks... You name it, he'll help you move it!Best of all, he is a HAPPY dog! His tail is always wagging, no matter the task at hand. He is an optimist, (I call him the Grand Optimist), a trait I didn't know how much I valued until he came along.
